What I did

• Real-time chat, end to end. STOMP broadcast on the Spring side, Firebase token verified at the WebSocket handshake, history served over REST, and a live inbox with unread badges on mobile.
• The visual direction of the app. Colour and gradient system, floating tab bar, emoji replaced by vector iconography, and a redesign of the profile and sign-up flows.
• Authentication. Native Google Sign-In, account linking, password reset, and identity-token rotation on every request.
• The map. Geolocated events, plus a server-side service that geocodes addresses entered without coordinates rather than dropping them.
